5. What Are Your Rights as a Personal Data Subject?

In accordance with Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("Law"), you have the following rights as a personal data subject:

  • To learn whether your personal data are processed,
  • To request information if your personal data have been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom your personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
  • To request correction of your personal data if they have been processed incompletely or incorrectly and to request notification of the transactions made in this context to third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
  • To request deletion or destruction of your personal data in case the reasons requiring their processing have ceased to exist although they have been processed in accordance with the provisions of the Law and other relevant legislation, and to request notification of the transactions made in this context to third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
  • To object to the emergence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • To claim compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to processing of your personal data in violation of the Law.
